am due to replace some corroded pipes on the FF, and seen a lot of comments about the above clips, are they for the flexi's, or the ones that run full length under the car?

And has anyone got the part number for any clips needed for the full length ones please?

Also, how much brake fluid will i need if replacing it all?

They are used to hold the flexible hose end and the solid b/pipe end fitting together where they pass through the locating bracket on the car. (See pic below). If this is the first time its been done its a good chance the 2 rear ones will be badly rusted (mine were), there are 4 on the car, one for each wheel brake line.
I used approx 8 litres of brake fluid, (bled the whole system twice). Look at Joe 90's write up i found it very helpful.

when i replaced my brake lines i bought 4 new clips from a BMW dealer.
much cheaper than RR prices.

BMW part number is 34341163565 they were about £1 each.
definitely nicer fitting new clips when your doing the job.
