TDV8 4.4 exhaust tips

Hi guys,

I've been looking for some exhaust tips for the new 4.4 TDV8 and haven't found anything except some complete exhaust systems and fake tips on ebay Very Happy

Well, I'd love to have some real exhaust tips, more or less decent and easily installable Thumbs Up

There are some kits for the old 3.6 TDV8 like this:

Will they fit the new TDV8? I suppose the 3.6 and 4.4 have different stock exhaust?

What else can you recommend? Maybe there are some good kits for the new 4.4 TDV8? Where can I get them?

Thanks for looking Wink

The new tdv8 has 4 tail pipes, so this rules out the twin pipe options Gerry

See the HST style rear pipes that you can order via a dealer part of the Design pack, i am told you can order as the part numbers only for the rear tips Far to many gone...

Unfortunately not, so I'm trying to find a "plug & play" solution Very Happy

I thought the design pack exhaust tips were just fakes - the Overfinch Aero ones are - they don't connect to the exhaust pipes just bolt to the bumper valence - they aren't even designed to connect.

I assume you mean this one -

They're nice in person (see pic) but I have no idea how they will look on a car without the bodykit Very Happy

I could be wrong, but I'll bet they don't connect & can only be used with the design pack bumper.

I have the Overfinch ones inspired Landrover Wink

They are just sealed cans that bolt to the bumper - the back is solod there is no way to connect to the exhaust pipes even if you wanted to. Even close up it's hard to tell as the interior is matt black - you have to crawl underneath to tell

Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mr. Green

Not being rude either but I could not have false exhausts on a Range Rover or any car. You may as well have a false Range Rover Shocked

A good exhaust system looks cool when its bubbling with V8 vibes and throwing out a bit of CO2 Whistle

The older ones were proper exhausts, but the ones on the Aero bumpers are just bling.
