Changed the bulb on mine the other day, get the feeling something is missing, but not sure what ?

The two press fits for the switch/bulbholder are just there, no finisher, and there is no perspex cover for the bulb.

My 59 plate glovebox light is the same as yours no cover/lense or anything.

All just looks a bit shoddy and unfinished, but if that is what it is.

Perhaps no cover so you can attempt to change the bulb without dismantling the glovebox? .

I tried for a good couple of hours to change the bulb through the little opening but there was absolutely no chance not with my fingers anyway.

Ended up taking it all apart to fit a new LED bulb.

OK, on the basis of no further information, I will give this up as a bad job by LR  .

Spent a couple of hours fitting led bulbs to interior, sun visors, puddle lights, number plates and reversing lights. Then came to glovebox and yes it’s the same as shown above.
So what do you have to take apart to get access? Thanks 2012 tdv8 Westminster arrived Jan 19 gone Dec 23

Thanks took off side panel on centre console and 10:tor’s screws managed to get it down far enough to get light out on wire and new bulb fitted. 2012 tdv8 Westminster arrived Jan 19 gone Dec 23
