Hi all

Was contemplating retro-fitting OEM roof rails to my SDV8, however I wondered whether there would be a compatibility issue with my panoramic roof?

Does anyone have any experience on this?

There is different part number for the roof rack for the panoramic roof ----------
2014 tdv6 (ex. 2004 td6, 1997 2.5 dse)

Its an easy diy fit - minimal tools - and yes there are different parts for the panno roof - think this is just the ditch finisher though and not the roof rails themselves - also available in black or silver. The silver ditch finishers look really odd on a car that isnt silver. Hence some owners fit silver rails but with black ditch finishers 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

Had roof rails fitted to my car by the dealer. No issues with the roof and the cross bars are easy to fit. See photo - ignore the idiot in the foreground!

Please excuse my ignorance, but what are the 'ditch finishers', I'm also keen on getting a set fitted to my L405 (with panoramic roof).

My car is Corris Grey so thinking the silver ditch finishers would indeed look a little odd.

Not too worried about the DIY fitting - I've previously fitted rails to several previous cars (mostly those driven by Mrs Crasher) so happy to give it a go.

I guess the next question is what is the part number? Presumably one for Duckworth Parts? Current

Any suggestions on what colour roof rails and finishers to get.
My car is causeway grey and as you can see in the pictures the roof is a silver colour (not sure what's its called). Was thinking perhaps to get the black rails and silver finishers, but open to suggestions. Not sure if the silver is going to match the roof

Thanks, the problem is I need to order the parts, so won't know if the silver matches until I actually get it. Not sure it's worth risking it. Black may be the way to go. L405 SDV8 Autobiography (MY13)
