you can get rust converters that should stop it getting worse but you may need to expose a lot more of the surface under the paint to get all of it. |

I'd probably put a light smear of grease over it to keep it at bay for a month or 2 Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

This was mentioned in another thread recently and I said I didn’t know of anywhere that sold repair panels. Has anyone found any in the past. These seem to be more and more common as a problem area, this and the sill. |

I have the same thing, You can be pretty sure that needs welding. I hoped it was just surface rust, but when I started to sandblast the area there was lots of pinholes through the body.

I had only small bubbles visible on paint and it was like lace underneath. |
