power fold mirrors

i'm sure i read how to 'lubricate' the power fold mirrors but i cant remember the process..can anyone enlighten me please....

2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue

I think it’s push them forwards from the normal position to reveal the gearing. Spray with lube. Spring them back. What I do so hope that’s right Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Are the “gang” recommending any particular lube ?
My mirrors get folded many times just to get in and out of my garage on top of normal use.

I use dry PTFE Lube every 3/4 months. 2012 TDV8 Black Edition
2000 Disco. TD5
1975 series III

I bought some dry ptfe but got it all over the mirror and then had trouble getting it off. Binned it. Possibly wrong stuff or operator error to be fair.

Is there a consensus on the best lube for this job?

My driver's side is creaking as it folds.
