It's snowing really light here so no exuse to not go to work tomorrow, unless I contract Man Flu during the night. More or less all of central scotland is getting it really bad on Saturday though, and I have things to do on that day Evil or Very Mad

really windy day over here today and the showers rattling in on the NW storms have been a mix of sleat, rain and snow but so far nothing has stayed long on the ground 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Listening to the lunchtime weekend forecast makes me wonder if I should be off to the tyre centre to get the snow tyres put onto the car............ 10-15cms forecast for low lying areas in Central/ Southern Scotland for the weekend. Should make the SLROC Comp Safari being held this weekend a bit "interesting" maybe snowmobiles will be more appropriate!
Certainly driving to Stirling the Ochills and the Aberfoyle Alps/Southern Highlands look spectacular with their overnight covering of the white stuff glinting in the sunny intervals - one good thing - the wind turbines on the Perthshire hills above Dunblane are thankfully now all camoflaged! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

i've been offered a few days fishing on the Tay next week but if that white stuff is going to melt i'll give it a miss Sad

snow melt with run off from the roads puts the 'fish' off for several days
