I bought something like this off flebay once for my grasss cutter, and it disintegrated on the first pump, if this one is any better, Plse say so. Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

It looks exactly like the 1 I've been using for the last 30 years & that's only recently become inefficient due to worn seals.
At that price & as long as you always use an axle stand as safety prop, it could be worth a punt for irregular use! Paul,

Typical - I bought a new 2T trolley jack earlier this week Big Cry

Mine only gets used for swapping between winter & summer wheels, so the aluminium one i bought is a bit OTT - this would have been just the job.

I doubt it would lift the fatties, due to the height There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

The last time I used one of those, I used it to lift my old man’s Montego. It’s perfect for changing the castors on the daughter’s Ka though.

I bought one of these to lift just one corner of the Disco and even that struggled alarmingly:

Where lifting 2 1/2 + tonne 4x4’s is concerned, I want it to not only have a much longer lift arm to cope with the ground clearance and suspension travel, but I wouldn’t consider it without a very fat weight safety margin either Thumbs Up

Large safety margins are already built into the stated ratings of jacks. Paul,

I thought 2.5T was a decent margin ? You’re only lifting one corner......

I haven’t tried my new jack yet - a job for next weekend, but hopefully it will be OK. The deployable steps on the L405 mean the jacking point is quite a bit lower, so a more standard jack should work for me. I can’t even get a Sprinter jack in there - which reminds me, I never did get around to buying a new bottle jack......

My 3 tonne, £95, scaled up jack was struggling to lift one corner of my D4. How do you intend to compensate for the limited range of lift from the short arm, when combined with a Range Rover’s longer travel suspension?
