Australia 2009 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Zermatt Silver

All fixed !!
After having to return to Darwin without the RR and stressing about what could be wrong with it for the last mont or so, i finally had a chance to get back down to collect her.

I had my IID tool ready and EGR blanking kit too . After giving the battery a good charge up i plugged in the the IID tool and read the list of faults . MAF and MAP faults, charge pressure fault, nothing about EGR showing up. I decided to do the the EGR blank off anyway as it was all i could do really.

Once that was done i decided to crank it over and hoped for the best. And just like that she was idling away smooth as silk, not a hint of a miss or any smoke to be seen. What a relief !!

I had a few extra days up my sleeve as i wasn't expecting the fix to be so simple so i spent the time fishing on the beautiful Nambucca river in perfect autumn weather.

Then was the big test 3800km towing a 5m boat north west to Darwin, and she didn't miss a beat and i arrived a full day earlier than the 4 days i had anticipated.

Couldn't be happier !!
