United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Santorini Black
All 4 wheels off the ground

Hey guys.

So I want to paint my brake callipers and from trawling the Internet it’s very confusing on how and what procedure to Jack the l322.

Anyone got a definitive way to jack up the entire car and put on block so I can paint the callipers and leave overnight to dry Regards

Axle stands all round. Use high tonnage ones. 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Thanks for this dr rob

What about jacking points so that I can put axle stands under? Regards

If it was me I would jack up one side of the car, sit on axle stands and do two callipers and then do the other side of the car. Much safer. Thumbs Up

According to the manual you can jack up the whole front or the whole rear of the car using the centre of the front and rear subframes.
I suppose if you then support the subframes at each side on suitable axle stands it would be OK. Need a high lift though to get all four wheels off at once. Previously a 2008MY Tonga Green Vogue SE 3.6 TDV8
