2015 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV6 Corris Grey

2015 Range Rover Vogue SE side step issues

Hi - Can anyone advise on the below issue please?

My left side step has started not coming out when the door is opened.
Sometimes it does as it should.

When driving at low speed I can hear it moving in and out.

No issues with the right one though!

Seems odd -- failure to deploy is usually lack of lubricant on the moving parts -- is there something obstructing the mechanism? Current: 2011 FFRR Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Might need a software update - my new one did this and needed an update to fix it...
