405s have well and truly broken the <30k barrier

Was watching this one close over a cup of tea, quite a few bids but sold @ £24,301

Not too long ago 405s would not stray under the £30k price barrier.

Albeit high milers.

Note the owner did not sell it at that ridiculously low price obviously, it is back for sale at £26.500, which is still well below 30K, mind you. l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

That didn't really happen to the L322 - there's a very big gap - it will affect the nearly new 2nd hand prices, but not the bottom end which will likely be down to 15k by then anyway.....

They all seem to be the 4.4SD i guess because of the higher VED bracket?!
Certainly many dealers must be catching a cold with these there are so many for sale?
I wonder what prices the traded in ones are fetching at auctions.

I reckon all the owners doing high miles naturally opted for 4.4L rather than the V6, to be fair.
