Hi, I've had my 2012 Westminster for over 2 years but need to expand its capacity now so think I need a roof box for holidays. This means I need the roof bars, but at £800 and seemingly obsolete I'm struggling. I won't fit the chinese ebay specials (sick of buying junk that doesn't fit and breaks after 10m) so wondered if anyone had any new OE ones in excellent condition that they didn't need? I need the whole lot CAB000040PMA. Same story with the side steps which I'll also need in order to get to the rood box!

Alternatively has anyone any great experiences with specific aftermarket parts they could point me towards for both items?

You can get deployable for reasonable money on ebay -- just make sure you specify the year of the vehicle to get the right loom and control module Current: 2011 FFRR Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Thanks, its the Geniune 'style' bit that gets me, there are loads of those but my experiences with far east produced goods made to a price are not great and with this being a part that has a lot of stress and where a lot can go wrong... I'd rather pay a bit more (but not £800) and get something trustworthy but I don't know what.

I saw the deplorable steps but would much prefer fixed.

You'd be best off just going for the sports bars - no need for rails and still available £255.00
