Stolen FF AB recovered

New video from Automatrics MTrack about tracking down and the eventual recovery of an autobiography

Hopefully it wasn't anybody from here who lost it

 Cheers Ian

Interesting there was also a crook lock and that didn’t deter them .....

Thanks. Wonder why they had to break the rear window? Steering lock doesn't seem to have done much good (have to say I've always gone with the Disklok version which seems pretty good). 2024 Range Rover P550e AB

I wouldn’t want that blokes job.... bit dark and lonely for me.

Always wondered where the trackers were fitted. Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

Well those thieves obviously couldn't find the Automatrics tracker but looks like they did some damage trying to find it. Evil or Very Mad Cheers Ian

I wonder if the company do all this for every stolen car. If so, it must be an expensive service. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

I think that the cars insurance company ends up footing the bill for all this, including the police recovery. Interestingly, the police miss an opportunity to catch the villains red-handed!

Looks to me like the recovery bloke might have unintentionally alerted the crooks by hanging around too close waiting for the police to show up the first time. Perhaps if he'd hung back a bit they'd have got the car back with a lot less damage. If I was the owner and I saw this I'd be pretty annoyed at the recovery bloke's amateur tactics.

I remember a few years back my car got nicked and the police told me the thieves will generally park it up somewhere relatively open for a bit to see if anyone comes sniffing around. Surely that's day one at car recovery guy school? 09 RR Westminster 3.6TDV8 - Stornoway Grey / Black interior - now gone (sad face)

Love getting their new vids, better than the telly these.
They track loads of stuff like site equipment, one episode was about outboard motors.

But a Range Rover edition? Superb! And better than the Calais RR recovery they did.

If you watch them all, you'll see they are very experienced - and successful.
Not sure I'd critique his tactics in this case, more down to Police delay no?

Wonder how they got it started?
If they smashed the window seems they didn't use the keyless relay technique.

Pretty cool recovery service though.

. Cheers, Greg
