L322 'Deadly Shudder' questions.

Good morning All,
Could you please lend some advice to me, I'm a 'newish' RR owner who's beloved 3.6 V8 has developed the shudder at certain times, a local trusted garage has determined its due to torque converter/gearbox issues, I had the oil changed in the box (and new filtration filter) a few months ago as a 'preventive maintenance' as she has done 126k and I presumed it had never been changed, apparently this is not a good thing to do as the new oils 'clean' the old which can cause problems ! yes I know that now.
My 'deliberation' is who and where to take the Rangey to get this sorted, I work in Lincolnshire and live in Norfolk (weekly commute) so I'm fairly flexible down the East coast, really would appreciate any 'steer' to the right people.
Thanks in advance, superb looking forum.

Before doing anything check your intercooler hoses (big ones on the top) for splits - I got all worried about my vehicle and it turned out all I needed was a £30 hose.... 2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car!

Much obliged DrRob, it was Famousfour who advised me of the issue.

This outfit is in Peterborough, looks like they specialise in auto boxes, never used them and don't know their reputation but it's an extra option for you to pursue?

You sure it isn't a sticky brake caliper? .

Their website looks good. Reassuring to know that someone has used them, even better when the report is good.
