Weird noise from the engine

What I can only describe as listening to a rattlesnake. I can hear it when I am driving. Stops when I take my foot off the gas. It sounds like a leak of some sort from the engine bay. It bounces off buildings when driving along a street.

Anyone else had this? TDV8. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded
