2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Java Black

New purchase! Journey home

Lovely drive home thank god with no bongs! 😬😬😬, even managed decent mpg with some motorway driving. What a lovely place to be though and the power! Very addictive. Onto first job though, gearbox flush or just oil dropped and filter what you guys think? Doing diff oils too, She’s a 56 plate 4.2? Supercharged. Very happy chap at the moment lol

I believe the gearbox on the 4.2 is proberly the best fitted to a range just oil and filter

Cheers chaps 👍🏼😎. My local Indy said he prefers to mega flush the gearbox ect rather than just drop the oil as there’s still loads of old oil left in the torque converter but I’m not sure what to go for tbh. Car has 119k on it with lots of history but none for gearbox so it needs it doing

Check the locking wheel nuts are not mangled then bin them off for new normal ones
Check all the normal nuts for swelling due to rust and replace any. 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"
New Defender D300 90 on order so "Rory" will be going to a new home....!
