My FFRR 56 Java Black plus mods and tidying up

Well, I've asked a number of questions so thought I would upload some pictures and recent work completed.

Car is a 56 Vogue TDV8 and runs and starts like a brand new car.

I've included some pics of when I bought it, how it looked and the few things I've done to tidy it up. I'll keep updating.

The rust on the towbar

Wire brush and some Hammerite

Engine bay clean

Calipers replaced due to a sticking one. I also replaced the pads, wear sensor, hand brake shoes and springs. While I was at it, changed those terrible nuts with a brand new set without the caps.

I plan on taking off the front and painting them. IMO, they look better but I know it's each to their own.

Looking good.

I'm about at the same point on my 56, painted the back box and tow bar system with 2 coats of matt black last week.

Will probably be doing some brake R&R in the near future.

Do it, it looks better in the flesh. I got round to giving the wheels and front a clean today. I was busy on my other car with limited time. This weekend will be the the front ones getting a coat or two.

Here are couple of updates and a picture after a clean and clay bar.

Wiper fixed and fresh coat of black paint.
