United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

Prices have softened massively on 4.4's in the last year. I have just bought a nice (I hope!) late 2010 (2011 MY) 4.4 TdV8 Vogue from a dealer for a smidge under £15k with 75k miles and FSH, also just hade £4.5k spent on it in the last 500 miles on turbo replacement plus a few other common issues (oil cooler for one). Drives:
2010 FFRR TdV8 Vogue - Stornoway Grey
2010 FFRR TdV8 Vogue SE - Zermatt Silver
1998 BMW E36 M3 GTII

When I was looking (Mar-May) the cheapest 4.4 I looked at and drove was £13,950 with 95k miles, there were more options at £15-16k but the market seems soft for these at present so am sure there are 4.4s out there around £13k. I can still see cars that have been on the market for 12+ weeks which aren't selling, always think it strange that dealers have over priced cars just sat there but guess they know their business and eventually someone comes along.

The 3.6 I bought was £11,400 at 84k miles, got a reasonable trade in figure for my D3, at least it was close enough to make a private sale not worth the bother.

Drakes, whats the SLK 280 like? I'm thinking about something similar to replace a 3 series.

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Alaska White

Prices have softened massively on 4.4's in the last year.

Hi rvbush.

I'm looking at the SE model only and they seem to be a bit higher although I have made telephone enquires about one priced at £13.5k. It had been quite neglected and plenty of work to do so will give that one a miss.

The others seems to be around the 15 - 18k mark, that latter of which is too high for me.

Some of the dealer prices are all over the place with a couple of cars I've been watching now for 6+months as their prices have suddenly jumped from 16k to just under 20k and then almost back again!

Others have gone from 17k and dropped almost every couple of days by £500 to 13k at which point they were presumably snapped up.

One white Autobiography on a 12 plate with about 80k miles should have been in the high teens suddenly dropped to 13k overnight.
I asked the dealer why and he had no idea.

Anyway, will keep on looking Smile

G

Hi dolph34.

Thanks for that and good to know. My TDV8 Sport will do around 31mpg id a shade under 70mph which is not too bad so any small increase will always be welcome Smile
