New drive orders given

Well new drive being laid this week and in no uncertain terms my significant other has said NO MORE REPAIRS OR MAINTENANCE ON THE DRIVE . The end

Can the contractors amend the contract so it says they are laying a general purpose vehicle hard-standing area? That way you can commit to no work on the drive but still perform work on your hard-standing area. Everyone wins (perhaps!)

I believe if one buys a slightly worn motorcycle and undertakes to rebuild it in ones kitchen it has the effect of removing all obstacles to working on the drive.... Shocked

or indeed the missus may move out, which is just as/could be as good a, if not better, result Razz Cheers
