Heated glass for mirrors not heating. 2007 3.6 tdv8 VSE

Hi all,
I bought a new, boxed right hand side CRD500180 mirror glass for my VSE. Fitted it and plugged in the connector.

The left side is heating, the new glass on the right side is not.
I read that switching on the heated rear screen bypasses the temperature calculations for heating the mirror, so tried that. Still not heating.

I have checked fuse 11. (30 amp) - looks fine.

Thinking about a hard battery reset, by touching +ve & -ve together. Not sure how this is going to help, but it was suggested on another forum for someone whose mirrors and steering wheel were not heating.

Any suggestions/ideas please?
Thanks
Mark

Swapped fuses. Did a battery terminal reset by touching the +ve & -ve together, and also connected an additional two spade connections on the corner of the mirrror. Now seems to be gently warming, a little bit when the rear heated screen is on. Need to do more testing.
