How do I get RANGE ROVER straight at the same position

So I got all the Letters front and back. How do I do this now to get them straight and at the same place again. Daniel

Past:FFRR 2004 Vogue 4.4l bonnatigrey/sand/ burr walnut
Modifications: SC grill (not fixed) SC MY10 sidevents (not fixed), MY10 Letters front and back, clear sidelights , MY10 rear lights (not fixed), MY09 steering wheel trims, new MY09 sterringwheel 19'' seven spoke wheel (not fixed) 19'' MTS (not fixed), 20 '' wheels, doorhandelcovers brunel (not fixed), complete doorhandels (not fixed) burr walnutdoorsouround (not fixed)

look at some FFRR's on ebay or pistonheads and copy the letters from them ... ... - .- -.

If I recall, I used a cotton thread taped at each side of the bonnet to ensure the lettering was straight 2005 Audi A8 W12
1978 Mercedes 450 SEL 6.9
1986 Mercedes 420 SL 4.2

if they are genuine letters the backing will line up pre spaced with the bonnet edges and lip, spacing it is then fairly simple

if not genuine - its out with a tape measure and sharpy marker... you can usually remove pen marks with meths.

Got the genuine. There is a prespaced sort of paper with square holes. so I just put the letter it in the middel of the square or do I line it up to the top? Sorry for all those questions but if it is not perfect I will hate it. Daniel

I have been threatening to do mine for a bit now, whats putting me off is the previous owner has glued some letters onto the bonnet

I am concened about the finish once these have been removed (or even if the glued ones will come off) and wondering if the bonnet will need paint

Any advice or suggestions?[/u]

try first with hairdryer with warm air if it lifts off. If it goes off you can use glueremover. There is some special remover for cars. Daniel

Just a quick note to say thanks for the positive comments about the videos... they are a little "low budget" but i hope it helps people even if they don't purchase our products.
