Hi Guys and Gals, just a quick hello as i pop my head round the door. As some of you may have noticed i have been absent for a while. My wife has got terminal cancer and had to stop work a couple of years ago,she is hanging on in there, they make 'em tuff oop north.. so the FFRR had to go as it was only ever a play thing.

Due to the fact that i have been having withdrawal symptoms for a while now, i decided to venture into the dangerous world of the classified ads. i decided a change was required, so i am again the owner of a RR, but for the first time i have gone for a RRS to see what all the fuss is about..

It's actually quite a nice motor, bit harsher ride quality than the FFRR mainly due to the rubber band 40 profile tyres, my bloody teeth take such a pounding.

Anyway i will be keeping an eye on the forums again, both RRS and FFRR. Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE

The 4.4 tdV8 Fault Log is still plagued by DPF soot problems, but we have learned to live with the effects.

Welcome back Stu. I have joined from RRS ownership and much prefer the more complaint wafting along in the FF but do sometimes miss the handling of the Sport.

Sorry to hear about your wife.

I have just jumped in the opposite direction after 4 RRS to a 2005 TD6.

Totally different cars on road but both very capable off. I do miss the handling on country roads.....
