Jacking rubber pads - how are they secured ?

Before I go and try and remove one, how are they secured ?

They just push on. It’s all rubber.

Ease it straight downwards, it’s just got like a rubber male bit in the centre that goes into the sill.

You could ease one end at a time if it’s tight. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

You need to remove the pin in the middle and then It will pull out. Don't force it out with the pin still in or it will snap the clips like I did on one. Cheap to replace though. Use a thin flat head screwdriver to ease the pin out. Pic attached to show what they are like.

Ah..... apologies then.....that explains why the one on my TD6 came off a little bit too easy.....no pin...
