Front driveshaft gaiter

Guys my front right cv is split badly. It won’t pass an MOT

Ive bought a new gaiter but I’ve been offered a complete used driveshaft for £30 so I’m thinking it would be quicker to just swap the lot rather than remove driveshaft, separate the CV joint & fit new gaiter.

Thoughts? 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded
