Although it may have been dealt with before-any thoughts on good independsnt garages to do work-when required/ service my 2012 Westminster-ideally in London-North of the river-central or west?Would like a reliable independent rather than a main (s)dealer if at all possible. If not, should I prepare for a wallet spanking and go to LR West London-big garage on the A40 any good...!??

I use RR London in Battersea despite living in Highgate. The drive is a chore but it’s only once a year. They are crazy busy. Knowing if your car will be ready for pick up in the evening is a lottery.

2016 and 2017 were great. But 2018 the service went down hill considerably, in part because the gaffer (Ross) got additional help and the new person (Michael), whilst experienced, screwed up a few things for me, including telling me work was essential that Ross later said was not needed at all.

I still like the place. But I’ve knocked a virtual star off them in my head.
