My 'New' 56 plate L322 TDV8 Vogue

I bought this lovely TDV8 L322 through an online auction site over in the UK and had a good friend deliver it over here in Brittany last weekend.

This was the first time that I had seen the car in person except on my card statement for the purchase.

Here are a few pictures of it after a quick wash and wax post delivery journey.

It is a 56 plate, with the odd update ie wheels, grill, etc and has clearly come from a loving owner. Both interior and exterior are 'pristine' for its age, with FSH etc.

I'll likely be making a few tweaks, maybe some new flaps, side steps, tyres (perhaps) install my second gps unit to include various warnings not included in the latest LR Nav Disk.

Here we are in the field after the hay bailing.

Thanks for looking.
Rich

Answer; I wouldn't even put my son in law who bailed the hay in the back of this one! Wink

Thanks guys, today's small but important job was to repaint the back box and all towbar mountings in two coats of matt black flat anti rust paint.

Cheers, Rich

Sorry about that Sam, nah.... Wink I would use the outfit in Reading again.

I feel that it was indeed a bargain. I had followed a good dozen vehicles in order to get a real feel for the auction, the final prices, and the all important number and speed of 59th minute bids.

The difference between wining and losing on this one was a fiver £5.

Further home inspection reveals that the car has not been mucked about with and it arrived complete with everything from the initial showroom, inc portable video camera, full sized unused spare, key for towbar, fuel spout resetter, etc.

Booked in at my daughter and son in law's garage next week for an oil service, will also be changing all the wheel nuts as the ones on it are somewhat naf.

Cheers,
Rich

It would better for the forum. To complicate it further, an early 56 plate could be either model year 2006 or 2007 depending on stock.

When I had my Td6 it was first registered October 2004 but was a MY 2005 so that's what I put on my sign in. It was particularly relevant because the change to MY 2005 introduced the MOST system.

Indeed, this one was registered late 2006 but it might as well be 2008.
Upper dash vents, MK1V satnav.
Then someone has fitted the Style 11 Autobiography alloys, supercharger grill/vents.

And sometime fairly soon it will change over to French plates which will make it totally unidentifiable except for the badges on the tailgate!
