I've finally bought a RR! TD6 Vogue SE

After many years coveting my friends' '03 plate V8 Vogue I have finally bought my own RR!

I went for a diesel as LPG is scarce around home. I was always worried that a TD6 would feel sluggish compared with my tweaked TD5 Disco but it is so torquey.

Very nice. Looks lovely.

I think the td6 is underrated. Yes, it's not as fast, economical, quiet as the V8's but they are extremely reliable and cheap to maintain.

I like the Td6 as well, but they do run out of puff a bit at high speed.

Range Rover Sport alloys.....

I liked my TD6, but replaced with 4.4 TDV8..... times have moved on a bit diesel wise.

That sounded a bit negative, and wasn’t meant to be....

You can upgrade to the later BMW vortex crankcase breather if it’s not been done. Never have to change it again....

Crankcase Breather Filter

The original foam based filter can get blocked and cause turbo failure amongst other things, if not chenged regularly. BMW redesigned the unit to just be like a plastic cone vortex, so can never block.

I think you can just replace the filter part, though you can replace the whole unit if you prefer.

The part number I have is BMW 11127799224

For the filter only, its BMW part number 11127799367 "Oil Seperator"

You’ll love it then wonder why so many times. Problem is you might look at other cars but nothing else comes close
