Glow Plugs 2012 TDV8

Hi,

anyone changed there glow plugs?
I am at 125k miles no issues just thinking of it as preventative maintenance. anyone got experience of these?
Do they bind into the head like ford TDCI (Had a Mondeo took me 3 hrs to wiggle a Censored out!!)

thanks

I have a funny feeling, you're going to get peppered with "if it ain't broke....don't fix it" messages.
Don't believe I've heard of anyone changing their glow plugs on a 4.4, I know they run super hot but that's about it. 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!

Yes, leave alone if they are working, no need to change them

Totally agree, leave them alone if they’re working.
yes they can snap off as in any alloy head and one or two of them are a Censored to get at / out at the rear of the engine.
