Quite like the look of it.
Agree it definitely doesn't look rugged like its predecessor.
Can't see many selling as workhorses it'll just be another luxury SUV. 2011 (MY12) 4.4 TDV8 Vogue

LR are on the proverbial hiding to nothing with this project, wouldn't matter what they did there'll be loads of people who won't like it. Drives:

2010 FFRR TdV8 Vogue SE - Zermatt Silver

And such vehicles are bought by the boatload all over the world.... I like it and can’t wait to see it in the flesh. I doubt LR are going to pitch to the ‘farmer and utility’ market though. That ship sailed with the LT100, HiLux and others.

Very much waiting to see it for real, but it’s good to see the alpine windows, the recognisable side windows, the square shape and it might indicate a welcome return to form, particularly after one real duffer over the last 5 years Sad

Not sure if the wide protruding wheel arches are going to make the car too wide, or the cabin too narrow. Let’s hope they’ve got it about right, but they’re going to be difficult to place in narrow gaps. Maybe, like the Real Thing, it’ll look better with a patina of bashes and scrapes Thumbs Up

I think the base spec looks better. Definitely more defender like anyway.

Have they released a price list yet?
