Half height dog guards???

Why have LR dropped the half height dog guard?

I haven't aquired an L405 yet but a dog guard is at the top of the list for when I find the right one.

In the L322 I've quite often turned up somewhere and for example an impulse purchase thats too big for the boot, no problem half height dog guard out in seconds, stowed in rear footwell, seats fold down, large item in (parcel shelf also fits should it be in the car)

The only dog guard I can find that looks half decent is the travall but it has arms and feet sticking off it so doubtful if it would go in the rear footwell and the way it is clamped down with the feet resting on the rear trim and an arm to the C pillar it looks like it will rattle / creak and be very annoying.

Has anyone got any real world experience or other suggestions? Current

Have a look at the polycarbonate Boot Buddy guard. Brilliant, no hairs in front of car and you don't know it's in there when you look through rear view mirror. Comes out by releasing 4 velcro tabs round the rear seat headrests. About £80, highly recommended.

The Travall comes apart very quickly - the arms have 2 screws on hand wheels

I haven't noticed any noise from ours
