Towing Assistance - target

I'm trying to get one of these and everyone is out of stock or there's some issue or other.

Does anyone have the dimensions of the black circles and distance apart or are able to send me a picture of one? For something so simple its proving really tricky to get hold of one.

SORTED - found the thread...... Embarassed 17 MY Corris Grey 4.4 VAB

Ive just installed tow Assist using the IID tool and I have no idea what it’s supposed to do? I’ve set up all the caravan dimensions on the screen but nothings apparent since then? 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

I had it. Never found out how to benefit from it. Then the sticker fell off the trailer and blew away.

It just provides the camera something to focus on and track. Its then able to use an integrated algorithm to forecast where the trailer will end up position based on the current steering angle taken from the sensors in the steering wheel. It then draws the additional lines on the screen the same as parking lines that move based on steering angle.

I think it also allows you to input the length of the trailer so that it uses that data in the algorithm to help with forecasting articulation of the trailer also

Do you have an L405?

I am not sure about L322 in terms of if it has the same features etc.

I think the L322 has to have surround cameras for it to work, my 2011 AB has it but I haven’t bothered using it, too much trouble setting up each trailer, I can have the job reversed by the time I’ve worked out what the screen is telling me.

I believe the later cars steer for you based on the guidelines on screen so might be more useful?

The L405 terrain response knob pops up and then you pull it again and it then becomes a miniature steering wheel to control the electric power steering so you dont need to fight the steering wheel with a snaking trailer, just sit back and steer with the knob!
