Electric and lifetime sustainability

Interesting read... poses questions about electric cars produced in Poland or Germany as all produced by coal & much more.

https://mailchi.mp/emissionsanalytics/life...5ffcb77200 Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

Make you wonder how "green" EV's actually are if you could work out their total carbon footprint over the life of the vehicle.

& another thing to take into account is all the extra copper mining that will be required to provide all the cable for the charging infrastructure (assuming that the generation capacity will be available).

& of course the oil industry will continue to provide the plastics for the cable insulation & electrical enclosures.

This "green revolution" is no-where near as green as the promoters of EV's would like to think. 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6
