They use the same process as most manufacturers apparently. It is a lot of money, but still alot cheaper than buying original parts. FFRR TD6 HSE

Here's a question:

If your door cards did not have the inserts below the handle, can you fit them or do you need a newer moulding to accept it? I'd guess you would, or it would stick out proud of the surface instead of flush. Discovery 4 HSE

I had my wood done in black laquer - it's completely identical to the factory piano finish. They take out the pieces, laquer them and put them back. Fantastic job & cost me £500

Sounds good Alistair

Been back this morning and booked it in for next week.
They use the same process as Land Rover and do a fair few nearly new cars where if someone wanted Piano Black but they had Walnut Burr they would take off the trim and turn it around in 4-5 days.
I am going for the Black Piano as I wanted to keep it within normal RR colours. They were also flexible on price and I got all 14 trim peices done for £520 + VAT. Thats for removal and refit as well.
The only problem I have is they need the trim for 4-5 days so will be driving around in a car with trim bits missing. Not sure how its going to work on the door handles??? FFRR TD6 HSE

Hi Alistair: any pics? I'm thinking of getting parts of the centre console done to match the piano gloss I already have. Do you know how many coats they use?

Thanks!

Car is now trimless!!
Garnish are hoping to get the piano black done by Thursday so they can fit the trim back in after they tint the car on Wednesday/Thursday. I'll post up some pics of the finished interior later in week. FFRR TD6 HSE
