MOT Advisories

I will be collecting my new to me MY2011 Vogue SE later this week and have been made aware of the following advisories. Can any of you out there let me know what work this entails in basic terms and if it's possible to do on the drive or does it have to go to a LR specialist? I'm handy with the spanners so not afraid to get stuck in but as the vehicle has advanced dynamics will this have to be removed in order to carry out any remedial work?

Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories):
Nearside Front Suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement (5.3.4 (a) (i))
Offside Front Suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement (5.3.4 (a) (i))
Nearside Rear Upper Suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement (5.3.4 (a) (i))
Offside Rear Upper Suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement (5.3.4 (a) (i))

I currently own a Freelander 2 HSE which I will be hanging on to and have in the past owned 4 RR Classics (wish I still had them) a P38 and a Discovery 2 so am fully aware of what being a Land Rover owner is all about. Rolling with laughter

AFAIK these are all proper nuts and bolts and bushes issues, sorting these out can be done on the drive with the right tools. You will need a bush pressing kit of some kind, a decent jack, some good axle stands and a big hammer! .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Many thanks for the information, I will probably just get my local indy to do it as it's much easier with a press. Picking the RR up tomorrow so expect to see some pictures probably next weekend once I've had a chance to spend some quality time with it
