Best all year round tyre - L322 - 285/40/22

Hi folks,

Not long bought a 2011 TDV8 Overfinch with the Elara alloys.

The owner before fitted brand new Toyos a month before purchase (285/35/22) and while the dry performance is good they are poor in the wet conditions. My wife drives it mainly so looking for a good all year round tyre and with a step up in profile I'm hoping for a 'little' more comfort and wheel protection.

If there is a fantastic 20" winter tyre thats worth buying I may buy 20" alloys, what would you suggest?

Thanks in advance!

I have these

Look good on the car and are excellent in wet and snow. Ran them all summer too.
Will replace with same or might go General Grabber AT3 in 55 profile when I need a new set of boots.
55 will give a slight better ride and kerb protection.
Ditch the 22s and go 20. It will be like night and day Thumbs Up

The Conti's that are standard on the L405 in 275 40 22 are good

22's will always give a firm ride on an L322 though.....

Thanks guys

Yeah tbh I've had 3 x L322's - 2 being Overfinch and I'm used to the 22s tbh, my other car is an MX5 hillclimb car so that may explain it!

Other than continental any other shouts for the 22" tyres?

I am looking for overfinch 20's but they are rare!

Thanks
