.. thats what the Nissan Pathfinder we test drove yesterday smelt like. What is it with main dealers that they don't seem to get that leaving a valetted car wet for ages is likely to result in an unsaleable car! This thing was dripping - only reason we took it out was to experience the drive.. but several hours later our nasal passages were stained with the stench Salesman suggested a lemon bomb.. I think hand grenade would have been closer to the desired effect

Anyway... we ventured on and looked at 2 Disco 3's... both the garages had closed by the time we got to them so were locked... The first looked like a rabid dog had been shut in the boot.. had mud caked on the roof liner by the driver door, and a patch above the drivers head

The second may need some further investigation.. but looked like a smokers car.. ash around the window trim . (Garage was shut today too!) other wise skuffs on the front and rear bumper and a cracked rear cluster WTF! Its got parking sensors on too

I hate looking for replacement cars.. first dileama is finding something to replace the FFRR with, but then the wet slippers experience leaves little to be desired. There seem to be very few good condition vehicles out there By all accounts my FFRR is the most decent vehicle we've been in all weekend and put cars half its age to shame.

I'm in the market for a v.tidy HSE Disco 3 sub £22000 and less than say 65 thou if any one sees any belters. 2010 Disco XS TDV6, 2009 Freelander 2 GS

Last time I was looking for a second hand car I couldn't believe the crap that was on the forecourts. The vendors seem to take no pride in what they are selling and have a take it or leave it attitude.
