2006 stereo upgrades?

I've seen several posts on upgrades for the Bovee systems etc, but nothing seems to interface with this bastard year model. Has anyone had any success with bluetooth streaming, or any decent aftermarket options?

The best you get is apple CarPlay / Android auto integration does around £550 from navtool Current stable:

I use BT via the Aux input in the rear .. works for me P525
