Hi all

I’m looking at buying my first Range Rover. I want as higher spec as possible so only been looking at Autobiography models. However, I’ve seen it mentioned that the AB doesn’t come with the top of the range stereo, something I’d want. (The Westminster does?)

Can anyone confirm? And if that is right, is it that much better? Worth holding out for an AB with it added as an option?

It varies year by year what was included. I put this together when I was buying as I was trying to work it all out. It's about 90% correct I think.

So from that list, the 1200 watt stereo Was only available on the Westminster? Not even an option on other models?

It was indeed an option because I've got it on my Vogue SE

It is something I really want. Is there a quick visual way to tell if one has this option? The ABs I’m looking at tend to be 2011

Also Mark, just generally regarding options you'll find many cars that have been spec'd up.
My VSE has most extra options.

AB's have got more leather though, this was the main AB difference.

Reclining rear seats were not standard on the ab, neither was the full camera set.
If you spec either reclining rear seats or 4 zone a/c then the rear seats are heated + cooled.
It's easy to tell if they are reclining rear seats by the controls on the doors.

Rear entertainment was an option, as was dual view screen.

All of the 4.4tdv8s get park heating as standard, although it seems not all seem to come with the remotes.

Ab gets leather headlining, rear seat sun visors and illuminated vanity mirrors, heated steering wheel, illuminated door cills, different wheels, grill, side vents, and a few other bits I can't remember. The main thing is, anything can be specd for a price.

The ab black which is an 11 model has a bunch of ab black embossed or labelled bits, special paint, wheels and trim choices. Even on this all the stuff mentioned above were options. It did get the uprated audio though.

Also worth noting the vogue se and ab have same style seats. The Westminster has the same style seats as the vogue (piped edges)
