Rear Entertainment Remote Problem

Good evening,

Hopefully someone can help/point me in the right direction.

Currently my rear entertainment remote is non responsive and will not charge, tried another remote/battery and left it in the cradle just in case it might start charging or the fairy’s fix it but have the same issue.

Is the power feed protected by a specific fuse that’s not listed in the manual?

Checked the cradle pins with a multimeter and no voltage found hence not charging.

Has anyone else had this issue/fixed before?

RR is a 2011 autobiography TDV8.

Many thanks in advance,
Hallza.

I’m guessing you checked the pins with the engine running ?

If your not getting any voltage then I’d say that’s your problem.

Maybe a break in a wire where the arm rest goes up and down? Regards

Daz

Hi Daz

Thanks for your reply,

I’ve tried with and without the engine running although I’d expect it to only charge whilst it’s running.

Is the cable routed a specific way?

Does it connect under the folding seat or boot area?

Many thanks,
