Just agreed purchase - pay to extend warranty to 12 months?

Hey guys

I've agreed a purchase on a 2012 FF that comes with 6 months Silver Warranty Wise warranty:

https://www.warrantywise.co.uk/car-dealer/cover-levels

It has most of those extras added too.

For £375 I can extend it to 6 months. (I concentrated negotiation on price alone which I got a healthy discount on, so there is not an option to ask for 12months to be included)

The car has done over 110k miles, FSH, everything works and is in great condition. Drives well, no smoke, no knocks, pulls well. I know it's a crystal ball thing but based on peoples experience on here, would you pay another £375 for 6 months peace of mind? Or are the things that go on these cars rarely covered anyway? The car will be added to my AA Parts and Labour cover so covered upto £500 on anything I call them out for.

Thoughts? Better to put money in bank? Anything bad will show in 6 months so no need to extend?

Pay the £375 - it’s easy on a RR to run up a bill 10x or even 20x that - check any terms and exclusions though first 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

Welcome aboard:

A 12 month WW cover is probably going to cost you over £1k anyway, so, for £375 for 6 months on top of your original 6 months is a pretty good deal I would have thought?
Just double check what 'options' you're going to get on top of the 'basic' cover, £375 for peace of mind isn't much is it?
Effectively, you're getting 12 months for £375......no brainer. 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!

They ( warranty wise ) have just refused to pay out on my recent claim.
My claim was for a L/H cracked inlet manifold. ( 2011 4.4 TDV8)
Read very carefully all their conditions.
If I was to do it again I would put the money (£1100) in the bank or get a dedicated credit card.
