Belgium 2012 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Santorini Black
Climate control living its own life

Hi guys,

3 weeks ago I bought a 2016 4.4 SDv8 and I'm loving it so far. I must say the ride is a bit harder then my old L322 4.4 TDv8 but apart from that it's really great.

The only thing bothering me is the climate control seems to be living its own life? With outside temperatures of about 6 degrees here in Belgium, once I start the car the car heats up like it should and interior temperature rises to the desired 21-22 degrees. But after driving for +/- 20 km the car will start to blow cold air, even when I switch off the 'AC button'. I have to increase the desired temperature to about 26 degrees before it will stop blowing cold air. BTW I keep it on 'auto' all the time.

Anyone has this issue? I'm thinking maybe a faulty interior temperature sensor? '17 Range Rover 5.0 Supercharged AB (Sold)

Mine's been at the stealer for three days now with a similar problem - except that it blows very hot when you turn the temperature down!

RRD : A diagnostic scan would show up a fault such as a faulty temperature sensor but the system might just be doing its job once the interior temperature gets to 22c ?

How far away are you from Mijdrecht in NL as Diagnose Dan is the place you should go to rather than a LR reseller ?
