2013 Range Rover vogue reversing camera - help needed

Hi,

Not sure if anyone else has issues but I’ve just purchased a 2013 RR and the reversing
Camera is rubbish. Is there any mod or upgrade I can do to these to make hd? At present when it’s wet you can’t see out the camera (or if it’s bad light) ..

If it's rain/spray on the lens you could put some "Rainex" or similar on it to help a little. 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6

the camera does get 'dirty' due the position it is in ....i know of a member who regularly wipes the lens when he walks past .. ... - .- -.

That's right, it quickly gets mucky being quite exposed. A quick wipe with a tissue makes a big difference.

It took me a while of searching but I have bought two hoses and a camera mount from LandRover and installed a washer for mine (Last year Christmas present to me). If you go into any show room and look at the newer models I think from 2016 onwards the rear camera has a washer.

It works BRILLIANTLY Thumbs Up but not cheap - each hose was about £45 each, the camera mount was £10. The rear spoiler has to be removed and a hole drilled into the fibreglass boot lid Shocked . It sounds drastice but I manged all by myself. I would not be without it now.

Did they move the camera up there or did you do that ?

Mine is at the bottom of the upper tailgate, just above the number plate.

It seems to pick up dirt easily so I wipe mine quite regularly....

I've just had a look at mine and its got a wash nozzle next to it...didnt know that.... ... - .- -.

No I have not moved the camera washer, its located next to the camera above the number plate. The picture show where I had to remove the spoiler and connect the washer tubing into a new hole I had to drill.
