FFRR 13 plate RSE remote problem

Hi all, I have a RRFF 2013 plate just bought, the rear entertainment remote doesn’t appear to be working when in limo mode, just two flashing lights. Any one experienced this previously, the battery recharges while in the rear arm rest, one assumes the battery has expired, any thoughts,
