I'm back - after 5.5 years in my L322 - time for a 405!

My MY10 L322 is up for sale in the sale bit - and am busy negotiating on a 65 plate SDV8 AB with all the toys from a stealer.

Couple of things - every picture I can find on the forum appears to show that the car is an MY16 (redesigned icons on the infotainment - stop start on the centre console bottom right etc.)

When did MY16 cars start getting delivered - first registration of this car is 2nd Sept 2015 - so I assumed it would have been a MY15.5?

I can't believe how much prices have tanked - in January this year dealers were pushing 2014 Vogue SDV8's for £37k or so - this car is almost 2 years newer, and is an AB for the same price!!! It was £112k new..

I see the warranty has dropped from 2yrs to 1yr since then - I plan on fighting the dealer to get the second year thrown in along with delivery. Anyone else had success on that?

I have a late July 15 MY16, but have seen plenty of 65 plate MY15.5’s so best to check the VIN something I didn’t realise until I owned it. On a AB the front camera is a give away as the MY16 has a single camera in the middle.

37k seems cheap!! Our local dealer has been selling 14 plate autobiography’s for 37k like hot cakes over the last few months I know because I test drove a few and while thinking it over they sold.

Yes - planning on getting the VIN from them tomorrow and running it through Topix.

It is cheap - reduced quite a bit from original price but there are a load of 65 SDV8 AB's on for around 40K it would appear. Just fewer in the grey or blue I want. Could take my pick if I wanted black!

That’s the one, pre MY16 has two cameras one on either side next to the fog lights. Or at least that rang true for every car I looked at. The other thing is tax, the MY16 is cheaper so check the reg plate on something like TotalCarCheck maybe.

I also spent allot of time looking for a grey or blue car ended up with the AB & a few extra’s it’s a lovely motor the L405 just as the L322 is. Sold - Bell a 2015 MY16 Loire Blue Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

tax comes up £325 as its Euro6 - but I thought some of the 15.5’s were also Euro6?
