LR Approved Used and Imminent Service

Anyone with experience of the LR Approved Used scheme - would you expect a 23-month-old car to have its imminent second annual service done upon sale?

i think that would depend on the dealer who's selling and if you could do a deal on it .... ... - .- -.

Generally at the time of vehicle preparation, if the service is due anywhere between 3-6 months away it will be done before the vehicle is put on the forecourt

Yes - and mine always have been serviced recently when I bought them.

As above, I wouldn't expect it to be going back to the dealership for a service within a few months.

Maybe they are just trying to use it as a negotiating point as you're likely going to want them to service it before collection anyway.

When i purchased mine (admittedly far older than 23 months) Stafford LR serviced the car before i collected it & it had only been serviced 5 months before, and they MOT'd it & it had 8 months left!

An utter waste of money IMHO! I hadn't had any conversation prior to collecting it as i thought it had loads of time before either was needed...
