Favourite Feature Of Your FF?

It suddenly dawned on me the other day that my 405 has a built in clever feature id never really noticed...

With all of the rain we've had here over the past months, I've noticed that, if you get into my car and start it before closing the drivers door (even for a minute or two) the front auto wipers will not activate until you close the door! This means (unlike the 322's) you don't get a wet leg/crotch area as the wipers clear the screen into the driver lap!!!

I know, i know! Its the little things....... Very Happy

So, has anyone else found any hidden stuff like this on their MY's?

Not hidden, but I really miss the pre-heat feature and heated steering wheel from my 07 TDV8 - I absolutely hate having to de-ice my car in the mornings 2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car!

I'll try that one Criag, it was a nuisance on the 322, especially if there was snow on the screen, would go all over the door switches too.

still on wipers...when you have them on constant and the rains dies down/stops, they stop until it rains again... ... - .- -.

A feature I really miss is his & hers seat positions paired to the remote - drives me mad when my wife has been driving - it’s the little things (and she is) Whistle

It always was the rain sensor on the wipers (and still is, I have it on the Volvo too Wink) .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

I just like everything, I've had two l322's and its better in every way I can think of, but I particularly like how I can just leave (and I do) wipers and lights on auto. Geoff

Fully remote boot opening and closing Bow down

When you walk out the supermarket alone and have the car in sight from the trolley return bay, you can push that remote fob, then lift your 3 or 4 fully laden bags for life out of the trolley, recover your quid, waddle over and dump the bags in the boot without having to put the bags on the ground or fumble for the keys Laughing

I forgot about the remote boot, the deployable towbar, the deployable sidesteps - I just take 'em for granted now along with the pre heat, the heated seats and the heated steering wheel (in this cold weather). Thumbs Up

BTW I don't waddle anywhere, Rolling with laughter Geoff

i agree Ryan, auto boot is very handy .....

...and although not a feature on some L405's i like the rear drl's/tail lights that come on with the front drl's...
...and again , not a feature on some, the auto access mode when you stop...
...and the auto front/rear heated screens when the temperature is below a certain level... ... - .- -.

My rear DRL’s I’ve wired on my car Stan 👍 it bugs me why it’s not an industry standard! A BIG safety issue!

The heated F&R screens are set able on all models sir 👍

Gesture tailgate. After all the bloody terrible weather we've had this year it's been a godsend when carrying bags, guns, cartridge bags etc.

Love adaptive lights and Speed limiter....in theory should never get a speeding ticket again (I said, "in theory" Whistle )

But a bit of a pain though, when the dogs run underneath and trigger the close facility when you have a flask/drinks on the lower tailgate! Whistle Whistle Rolling Eyes
