40split Rearseat powerfold stuck in flat/down position help

Hi All, long time lurker, first time poster... desperately need help! Sad Looking for your immense collective expertise

Used the boot buttons to powerfold the seats down for a clean. After, the 60split came up but the 40 did not. Shocked Big Cry Can’t even hear the motor! Neutral The driver seat self adjusts but that’s it!

Also just Noticed the power fold on/off switch for the tow bar shows a red light instead of green Evil or Very Mad and the powerfold button for the tow bar consequently does not work either.

Checked no 13 fuse in the luggage compartment seems undamaged.

Any ideas / help appreciated?!

Thanks
Billy

Did you try it with the engine running?

Yes, I did, plugged in a dish today. Says switch pack error! Took it out shook it blew at it.

Plugged it in. No change!

Just realised that the recline function does not work on either side as well.

Are they connected?

I had a similar issue with a loaner I had. It was a 19MY and it was the central armrest/console which stuck.
Try getting someone to push down on the back of the seat whilst you press the fold DOWN button. I found the issue was that it hadn't folded to it's max folded position and therefore was waiting to complete the movement before it would do anything else.
Give it a go. Thumbs Up
