United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Vogue SDV8 Santorini Black
[For Sale] 2004 L322 4.4 V8 Vogue with LPG

For Sale due to new car: 2004 L322 4.4 V8 Vogue with LPG

It's a high mileage [170k] but very well maintained car in Bonatti Grey. I've had it for 8 years and previously owned by founder of MoneySupermarket.com

Extras:
BRC LPG system done at Flintshire Autogas in 2012 - 85k since LPG installation - averages a cost equivalent of 31mpg.
Full 2006 Supercharged look conversion of front & rear lights, wheels, side markings etc.
Paddleshift modification.
Working Land Rover handsfree telephone system.
4 good Pirelli Scorpion Verde 255/50 R20

It's been very reliable - though I maintain it very well. Have details of all costs since I bought the car. Oil changed every 7,500 miles. Gearbox has been flushed a couple of times & everything is fixed when needed, so things like tailgate seals have been replaced to stop water into the rear electrics. New door handles recently as they were looking a little tatty. Normal problems of rust in tailgate and rear arches is much less than most. Tow bar provision.

The car drives very well. It has some marks on it, as you would expect from a car of this age.

I'm only looking to sell because of the new L405.

Wow, she’s a beauty and a credit to you Zebedee. If I didn’t have one already, I’d be beating my way to your door.

Good luck with the sale. It must be hard to say goodbye to it when you’ve looked after it so well for so long. 2004 L322 4.4 V8 Vogue Bonatti Grey

I would start a bit higher and let them knock you down. A well looked after example with a BRC kit fitted has to be worth at least what you’re asking. GLWTS Thumbs Up

2007 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.2 SC V8 Stornoway Grey

Another bargain for sale here.
Just shows most are frightened off these cars, always expecting a big bill.
They need not be expensive to run if you're handy with the spanners though.

My 4.2 on lpg has just had the usual service items and nothing major gone wrong it 7 years.

Good luck on the sale

This is interesting I think.

It looks a lovely car, but I think people get fed up of looking for a good one.

I myself am looking and want a supercharged. I have been to see and drive 2 today, both described as needing nothing doing and a great drive etc etc.

Both felt soggy, old, and although didn't look tattly, "felt" tatty, if there is such a thing! One over revved when changing gear and had hard downshifts, as well as knocking suspension despite being re assured that there were no noises in that area.

So I have come home fed up, disheartened and frankly I cant be arsed to drive more miles to be let down again!

I hope you get a sale soon, it is not over priced-maybe buyers are just demotivated at the minute.

that's a lot of car for 3.5K - should sell quickly I reckon

I have more or less the same car as you, but a few less miles, it had the LPG PRINS VSI conversion back in 2008, and I also manage around 30 mpg Smile

good luck with the sale, a year ago you would have had buyers at 5 grand !
