EBD / ABS / Stability control fault

Hi everyone,

I had my 2010 L322 TDV8 serviced by Rovertune 2 weeks ago and a new AGM battery and tow bar with all electrics fitted.

I have used the car with no issues for my daily station run (only 5 mins each way) with no issues many times since. I did a longer trip, about 20 mins each way at the weekend, again with no issues.

Today (2 deg C so cold) I turned on the ignition and had a number of warnings flash up:

EBD fault
ABS fault
No stability control -drive with care

May have been more than that - quite a few lights on. Anything to try / check before I take it to my local garage?

Driving to the Alps on Feb 14th, need it working properly for that!!

Cheers,

Joel

Thanks guys - got back to the station today and it hasn't done it again, so fingers crossed whatever it was has fixed itself. Will check tightness of battery connections

Worth checking for breaks on the wires going to the top of the shock absorbers in the engine bay. They control the active dynamics which can cause errors like this (I think was standard from 2010). Have you got a diagnostic tool to read error codes?

Check the fusible link 'board' behind the battery. My facelift TDV8 had a complete fit a few times and it was related to a lightly 'fretted' connection on one of the fusible links that fed the ABS amongst other circuits.

Unbolted all of the links, cleaned up all of the terminals and used some contact grease and the problem hasn't returned..
